The Chief Theater in Steamboat Springs proudly presents it’s 4th annual youth holiday production coming to you on Friday December 7th, Saturday December 8th and Sunday December 9th. This year Yampa Valley youth from all over are bringing the play An Elf in Elementary School, by Daniel Guyton to the stage. This is the popular story of a spunky Christmas elf named Happy who makes the decision that he does not want to be a Christmas Elf and instead wants to be a math teacher, so he leaves the North Pole and with Santa’s help enrolls in elementary school to learn how to add. A series of funny hijinks occur, and Happy and his new school friends get an important lesson in learning math and about what the true meaning of Christmas really means
Showtimes for Friday December 7th and Saturday the 8th are at 6:00pm and Sunday December 9th showtime is at 4:00pm. Doors to the theater and the theater bar open up 30 minutes before showtime. Tickets are $15 per person and can be reserved at An Elf in Elementary School. Before An Elf in Elementary Schools begins enjoy a magical opening act of “Rudolph” performed by Kristen Cronin. Bring the whole family out for an unforgettable evening with holiday spirit and for everyone!
