Bring your appetites and come to the Community Center at 1605 Lincoln Avenue on Thanksgiving Day and share a meal with your community. From 1:00pm until 5:00pm members of the Routt County United Way will be serving traditional Thanksgiving Day dinner and everyone in the community is invited. This annual event is a heartwarming way to spend the holiday and has been a local tradition for six years now.
Local volunteers get together and donate their time and all of the food for this full-course meal. Chef’s from a variety of local restaraunts showcase their master carving skills and carve up 25 donated turkeys. This free event last year served over 800 people.
To volunteer to work this event or to donate food please visit United Way Thanksgiving Dinner. Without volunteers and all the food donations this amazing event would not be possible. Spread the word so that everyone in the community can spend the day enjoying a warm meal and feel the community love.
