November is an exciting time to be in Steamboat Springs. Stunning Fall foliage, holiday festivities and events are happening bringing joy and community togetherness to the Valley. Here are just a few of our favorite November events.

Friday November 2nd from 5:00 until 8:00pm come to the Artist Reception at Steamboat Creates. The featured artist will be Cully Kistler and Jeffrey Johnson, and this event reception is part of the communities First Friday Artwalk.

On Saturday November 12th the Annual Home for the Holidays craft show is headed to town. From 9:00am until 3:00pm the Bud Werner Memorial Library will have 29 local crafters showcasing some of the best home crafted holiday items available. This is a great time to get some of your holiday shopping done and as an added bonus their will be pie available!

Calling all hockey fans. On November 16th, 17th and 18th the Steamboat Wranglers hockey team will be facing off against Cheyenne at Howelsen Ice Arena. For tickets and additional game information please visit Steamboat Wranglers Hockey.

Film buffs know that November is the Annual showing of the great Warren Miller movies. Come and share in Warren Millers love of skiing and the magical way he documented the sport in the 750 films  he created. This year on November 15th, 16th, and 17th the featured film is Face of Winter, which is the 69th installment from Warren Miller Entertainment. Presented by Volkswagen, the movie will be shown daily at 7:00pm at the Chief Theater.  This exciting movie brings together Veteran and new athletes who will be paying tribute to the man who started it all. Admission is $15 per person.

From Saturday November 17th until November 27th head on over to the Tread of Pioneers Museum for the 24th annual Festival of Trees. This free event is open daily from 11:00am until 5:00pm and features beautifully decorated holiday trees that were meticulously decorated by Steamboat Springs local businesses and non-profits.

Grab your bowling shoes and come to Snow Bowl Steamboat for Turkey Bowling November 18th through November 21st at 7:00pm. This fun for the whole family event is part of Snow Bowl Steamboats Thanksgiving Week Gratitude Fest. If you bring a canned food donation you will receive a bowling discount. As an added incentive anyone who bowls a turkey will receive a prize.
